Overview

General Paediatrics: Perioperative Medical Assessment

As a specialist in medical complexity and perioperative medicine, I provide medical consultation and support for children who are undergoing specialist surgery at Great Ormond Street. I work particularly with the Cleft Palate, Craniofacial and Neurosurgical teams.

I do not provide self-referral General Paediatric clinics privately; I only provide medical assessments and management to patients whose principal care is under another specialist at Great Ormond Street. Your specialist surgeon may request an appointment with me in advance of planning surgery.

Neurodisability: Autism Spectrum Disorder Team Assessment

I have a specialist interest in Austism Spectrum Disorder, and I work with the Neurodisability Team at Great Ormond Street to assess children and young people for possible neurodiversity. I am particularly interested in Noonan Syndrome.

The diagnosis of autism cannot be done by a single practitioner in a single session – it must be done as part of a wide team, including a doctor, a psychologist, a speech and language therapist and an occupational therapist over multiple assessments.

If you wish to self-refer, please do so on the Neurodisability Department Page.

Please note: I do not work with insurance companies and therefore only accept self-funding or Embassy-funded patients.
