Mr Jonathan A Britto

Consultant Plastic and Craniofacial Surgeon

Overview

Mr Jonathan Britto has practised in plastic surgical consultancy for more than 12 years. He undertook a residency in the Harvard Hospitals of Boston, and Craniofacial Fellowships in L’Hopital des Enfants Malades in Paris and the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. 

In 2008 he was appointed as a Consultant Plastic and Craniofacial Surgeon at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).  

Mr Britto has been an invited speaker and a Vale Visiting Professor at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children. He continues to deliver lectures and his presented research was awarded the Syme Professorship Medal of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Two significant appointments at the Royal Society of Medicine followed: President of the Section of Plastic Surgery (2014-2015) and President of the Faculty of Aesthetics (2017-2018).

• Smile reconstruction and the rehabilitation of facial palsy
