Dr Tazeen Ashraf is a Consultant in Clinical Genetics at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. She looks after a range of patients including children and adults with rare diseases, couples at risk of having a child with a genetic condition, couples seeking counselling and referral for Pre-Implantation Genetic Testing (PGT-M/SR) and pregnant women with fetal anomalies. She has an active research interest in children with KBG syndrome.

Dr Ashraf trained at Barts and the London Medical school and undertook her postgraduate training in Paediatrics in London, followed by a training programme in Clinical Genetics in Wessex and London. She has post-graduate certificates in the Interpretation and Clinical Application of Genomic data (St Georges University of London) and in Clinical Education (Kings College London).
