Overview
The Dubowitz Neuromuscular Centre (DNC) is a leading clinical and research centre specialising in neuromuscular disorders affecting children. We provide clinical assessment and diagnostic services.
We are also involved in clinical trials with research focusing on understanding the cause of neuromuscular diseases in childhood and identifying new medicines and therapies.
The DNC is comprised of a number of specialist multidisciplinary teams. These include experts in physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, and dietetic and medical assessments. In addition, we have joint specialist clinics with orthopaedic and spinal surgeons, respiratory and peripheral nerve specialists.
