Overview

Dr Gerald Kaushallye Cooray completed his medical degree at Uppsala University, Sweden, 2006. Thereafter, he completed his PhD in Neuroscience at Karolinska Institute 2010, Stockholm, Sweden. In 2018, he completed his specialist training in Clinical Neurophysiology at Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden. In September 2019, he was appointed Associate Professor in Clinical Neurophysiology at Karolinska Institutet. His main clinical and academic interests have been neuromuscular disorders and epilepsy in children and infants.
