Coronavirus (COVID-19) information hub
We understand that you might be worried about coronavirus – also known as COVID-19 – and visiting Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
The safety of our patients, families, and staff is vitally important to us. If you visit the hospital, you will notice that we have additional safety measures in place to protect everyone at GOSH. We've created this handy hub to answer all your questions and concerns before your visit.
Some of your appointments may be held virtually where clinically possible. This will limit the number of visitors to the hospital and supports the well-being of all patients and staff. Our teams will provide all the information you need to ensure your appointment will be carried out in a secure, safe environment.
For families coming to GOSH, it is now a requirement for any visitor aged 11 and over to demonstrate they have had a negative LFT before they are allowed on the ward Whilst we are not changing the rules on visits from parents and carers, parents /carers will be required to complete a symptom check questionnaire on our wards and Resident parents/carers will be asked to submit to a weekly PCR test.
We are currently accepting new patient referrals.
