Celebrating our September Ward Stars!

24/10/2024

At the International and Private Care (I&PC) directorate, we have outstanding and professional staff members who give their best every day. To acknowledge the exemplary work they do, the directorate launched a quarterly staff recognition award back in June focusing on the Caterpillar, Butterfly, Bumblebee, and Hedgehog wards. The award sees winners being chosen at the end of September, December, March, and June.

The initiative celebrates the outstanding efforts and contributions of our colleagues; paying homage to the dedication shown in their work, no matter what their roles are. In so doing, it also recognises the entire body of staff whose collective teamwork makes it possible.

Have a look at this quarter's winners:

“Sania is an amazing team-player who always gives her all and spares no effort. She is always ready to help and always so loving. She's optimistic and strives to spread the joy around. She goes above and beyond for patients as well as for nurses; exhibiting her talent and her team management skills. Sania makes it easy for colleagues to ask questions and rewards others with a supportive attitude coupled with the clarifications needed. Sania’s band 6 is well-deserved. Congratulations!''

''In addition to children, on busy and stressful days, Kimberley reaches out to nurses and looks after their wellbeing, too, with crafts that nurture a better state of mind. These crafts are very therapeutic and provide stress-free fun for the nurses who need to play, too, sometimes. Kimberley also organises the art pieces on the ward and partakes in making the Christmas celebration happen. She even supports the initiatives of the marketing team, and in general lends a hand to all colleagues: truly embodying the one-team value.''

Congratulations to all our winners! Your dedication and hard work make a significant impact on our wards, and we are proud to have you as part of our team. Thank you for everything you do here!

Nominate a Colleague:
